To the 90th anniversary of the West Kazakhstan University M. Utemisov Scientific Library organized an expanded book exhibition. The exhibition presented the scientific works of the teaching staff from 1940 to the present period. On the occasion of the anniversary of Tota Alimbekerova was awarded a diploma of the city akim for her work at the university, for tireless work, excellent results and making an invaluable contribution to the higher education system. 90 years since the birth of Sherkhan Murtaza

On September 27 of this year , the Scientific library of the University of Moscow Utemisova and students of the specialty "Librarianship" jointly organized a book exhibition "Kazak adebietinin kyzyl zhebesi" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the writer Sherkhan Murtaza. This exhibition presents the life and work of Sherkhan Murtaza, thoughts and articles written by the writer.

Sherkhan Murtaza was born on September 28, 1932 in the village of Mynbulak, Zhualy district, Zhambyl region. Among all his works, he paid much attention to the novel "Kyzyl Zhebe". This work, which tells about the life and character of Turar Ryskulov, the first Kazakh who found himself in the supreme power of Soviet Russia, became the main document of the author's work. In particular, the reader can get acquainted with most of his works from the seven-volume collection of the writer. Because this collection includes everything from the epic Novel "Kyzyl Zhebe" to plays and short stories. Also at the exhibition you can see the story "Nana's Boarding school", the novels "Kara Marzhan", "Ai men Aisha" and others. The bibliographic review was conducted by a student of the BD-31 group, Nazira Serikbayeva.

Meeting with veterans

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University, the staff of the scientific library organized a meeting evening with veterans who have worked in the library field for many years. We are proud to celebrate our veterans Gerasimova Elena Georgievna, Zhukovskaya Inna Nikolaevna, Niyazbekova Galina Adilovna, Yakovenko Yulia Ivanovna, Tausheva Gulzhan Zakirovna, Burekesheva Gulzhan Tulegenovna, Kenenova Madina Zhumagalievna, Kisekova Saule Sapievna, Nashinova Talshina Salimovna. The event was attended by Burekesheva Gulzhan Tulegenovna, who worked for 40 years in the book storage sector of the scientific library of the University and Kenenova Madina Zhumagalievna, who worked in the reading room of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law. At the evening, veterans shared interesting moments of their work. "We were able to set an example for young people who follow the path of love and loyalty to the librarian profession," the veterans said, wishing the librarians of the younger generation success in their work and sharing their experience. At the end of the evening, the director of the scientific library Tota Alimbekerova thanked the veterans of the library for their hard work and dedication to librarianship.

Discussion of the message of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2022

On September 9, 2022, the Scientific Library, together with the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, organized a round table on the topic: “The Message of the President is a new stage of political reforms.” Librarian Aitashova G.Sh. presented the goals and objectives of the event, conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition. A student of the PiMNO-41 group, Botagoz Orazbaeva, explained the directions and specific steps of the President's next message. Based on this, 1st year students: Kamila Amreeva, Turgynbek Kosaev and 4th year students: Zhaksybek Symbat, Konyrova Dilnaz dwelled on the main points of this message. During the discussion, everyone shared their thoughts.Teachers Nabieva Zhanargul Zhumabaevna, Erbolat Balmira Erbolatovna, Mukhieva Gulmira Seitmukhanbetova summed up the discussion of the message.

Within the walls of the native university, the Scientific Library celebrated the 80th anniversary of "Parasat bigindegi ustaz" Meretaeva Balsheker Nurgazievna, a veteran of librarianship, an experienced teacher, mentor.

During the event, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs Tuymesh Darisheva congratulated the hero of the day, on behalf of the rector presented a certificate of honor and a medal "Kitapkhana isinin ardageri".

Balsheker Nurgazievna, one of those who in her life was able to set an example of devotion and love for the library profession, worked hard for the development of the library. For many years of work in the field of librarianship and education, she has made a great contribution to the training and graduation of highly professional specialists.Her students today work both in the republic and in the region. The evening was attended by a group of graduates and fellow contemporaries, students who came specially to congratulate the hero of the day. Warm wishes were expressed by colleagues Farida Kabirovna Absalyamova, Irina Mikhailovna Kolenko, Saule Uteshovna Kuatova, who worked with Balsheker Nurgazievna, as well as directors of libraries Sholpan Urazaeva, Elvira Amangalieva, Marfuga Aitkalieva, Nurganym Mondagalieva, as well as Zvaida Uteshova and Nabira Saginova. Graduates of 1975 from Taraz G. Musaeva and A. Begaldina expressed their wishes in a video message. At the end of the evening, the director of the scientific library Tota Alimbekerova congratulated Balsheker Nurgazievna and thanked the guests. As part of the event, a book exhibition “My profession is my pride” was organized about the life and work of the hero of the day.
