Reader of the Year 2022
Tenge is a symbol of economic independence of Kazakhstan
On November 1, a round table on the topic “Ulttyk tenge martebesi” was organized in the Scientific Library of our university. The goal is to explain the history and meaning of the tenge to the future young generation. The event was attended by the ex-director of the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored worker of the financial sector, public figure Satybaldina Galiya Kamchatovna, the faculty of the Accounting and Finance department, who shared with students information about the history of Kazakhstan's transition to a national currency and the entry into circulation of the National tenge.
Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kusainov Rahmetolla Kusainovich presented to everyone's attention early paper coins and tenge, collected from old relics of our national currency, as well as coins called "Shashu", issued in accordance with the national tradition. Rahmetolla Kusainovich, who is interested in the field of numismatics, said that he collects these valuable relics in order to glorify the history of our national currency to future generations.Nursultan Zheksenuly, a 1st year student of the Faculty of Natural Geography, performed the kui “Alkyssa” by Nurgisa Tilendiev. As Socrates said, "Poor is not the one who has no money, but the one who does not have a dream," so, dear readers, know how to make a dream for yourself! Let dreams come true!

Veteran of labor Burekesheva Gulzhan Tulegenovna and head of the department Aina Gabdualieva were awarded the badge "Honored Librarian of Kazakhstan" on the occasion of the Day of the Republic and the Day of the Librarian. Congratulations to our colleagues!

My motherland is Kazakhstan
On October 21, at the Pedagogical Faculty, employees of the scientific library and 1st year students "Pedagogy and Psychology" held an event dedicated to the Day of the Republic "Menin Kazakhstanym". The purpose of the event is to educate students as conscious and reasonable citizens, to contribute to its improvement, to teach them to look with pride at every holiday of the country. Librarian Gulshira Aitashova delivered a welcoming speech, who prepared and presented a bibliographic review of the book exhibition.The event continued with questions and answers, the 3rd year activist Amina Kushkinbayeva read the poem “Ana”, the 1st year students of the P&P Bakytzhanov Tileuzhan and Nurlybekova Dilnaz reviewed the presentation “Kazirgі Қazaқstan zhane ötken Қazakhstan”, and Nazerke Esengel read the verse “Shekara”. “We are faced with the task of preparing a worthy generation who knows their native culture, loves their native history, who will be entrusted with the future of the country,” summed up the teacher of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education Lazzat Mutigollakyzy and the teacher of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Aigerim Samigollakyzy.
100th anniversary of Manshuk Mametova
On October 20, in the reading room of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law, an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Kazakh heroine Manshuk Mametova "Kazakhtyn kaharman kyzy - Manshuk Mametova" was held. The purpose of the event is to instill in schoolchildren courage, love for their country and region, and provide comprehensive information about the Hero of the Soviet Union. The lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, master Gulfiya Aibekova made an introductory speech. During the event, they watched the video “Batyrlar Eli. Manshuk Mametova. History students Azhmuratova Lunara, Niyazova Tursinay, Zhardem Ayaulym read poems about Manshuk Mametova. 1st year students Zhardem Ayaulym and Otepkali Bekzat sang a song dedicated to the heroic Kazakh girls “Ozim olsem de, Otanym aman bolsa eken”. Bolatova Nagima, a 1st year student, read an excerpt from a letter written by Manshuk Mametova to her mother, and Yernar Bakhytzhanov read proverbs about heroism and courage. Librarian Aksana Nursafina conducted a bibliographic review of the book exhibition “Kazakhtyn қaһarman kyzy – Manshuk Mametova”. At the end of the event, Aina Gabdualiyeva, head of the department for providing reader requests, expressed her gratitude to all those who took part in the event.
