On November 1, a round table on the topic “Ulttyk tenge martebesi” was organized in the Scientific Library of our university. The goal is to explain the history and meaning of the tenge to the future young generation. The event was attended by the ex-director of the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored worker of the financial sector, public figure Satybaldina Galiya Kamchatovna, the faculty of the Accounting and Finance department, who shared with students information about the history of Kazakhstan's transition to a national currency and the entry into circulation of the National tenge.

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kusainov Rahmetolla Kusainovich presented to everyone's attention early paper coins and tenge, collected from old relics of our national currency, as well as coins called "Shashu", issued in accordance with the national tradition.
