On September 08, 2023, lawyer, deputy of the Mazhilis Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Kuspan donated his work to the scientific library fund. A. Kuspan’s book “Lawyers of Alash” is dedicated to Kazakh lawyers of the early twentieth century. It outlines a brief biography, social work and contribution to the development of the legal field in the country.

Chronicle of the Consular Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a new book “The Chronicle of the Consular Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The publication presents the history of the formation of the Kazakhstani consular service, reflects the work of consular service employees, including those performing their official duties abroad. Consular historical essays are also presented, events and facts We hope that this book will be very useful to our students studying international relations and law, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in the diplomatic and consular field of activity. The book "Chronicle of the Consular Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" can be found in the reading room of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law.

Day of gratitude

On the first day of spring, Kazakhstanis celebrate the holiday of Gratitude Day. This day it is customary to express gratitude and appreciation to those who do good deeds and help people, as well as to encourage people to take care of their families, loved ones, friends, colleagues and neighbors. In this regard, the staff of the scientific library organized a meeting "Algys aitu - asyl kasiyet". The event was attended by senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Philology of the M. Utemisov ZKU, Master Turganalieva Ganmirkun Ganmirkhanovna, sound engineer of the Faculty of Culture and Art Nurmukhanov Kairzhan Gaisagalievich, designer of the editorial and publishing center Abdullina Assel Zhanbyrbayevna, lecturer of the Department of Computer Science, Master Nasyrova Bulbul Sagingalievna, head of economic activity Nurkaetov Magzhan Kairatovich, nurse of the medical department Gulzhamal Kademovna Makulova and students.

The evening was aimed at familiarization and expression of gratitude. A 1st-year student of the specialty "Philology" Dilyara Zhenisovna and a 3rd-year student of the specialty "Vocal Art" of the Faculty of Culture and Art Maksotova Ainara decorated the evening with songs "Zhaksy adamdar", "Algys".

The guests of the evening thanked the staff of the scientific library for a wonderful evening. Director of the scientific library Alimbekerova Toty Yerkinovna congratulated the guests of the evening on the holiday and expressed gratitude. We are so glad that such a wonderful holiday is on our calendar. This day unites people in a single impulse to do something kind, good for another person.
