Republic Day is a day that our ancestors craved for centuries and achieved independence. This is a special day when the heart is filled with joy and a festive mood reigns. In honor of the Republic Day, within the walls of the scientific library events and curatorial hours “Zhana Alemdegi Zhana Kazakhstan” were held, dedicated to the sovereignty of Kazakhstan, “Menin Kazakhstan”, “The Republic of Kuni - Kazakhstan. “Zhasai Ber, Kazakh Eli”, “Mangi zhasa tugan elim!”. The purpose of the events is to awaken the patriotic feelings of the younger generation: to honor their native land, country, respect the language, culture and traditions of all peoples living in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Book exhibitions on the topics “Republic of Kuni - Ulttyk Mereke” and “Menin of Kazakhstan” have been prepared.

On September 27, 2023, at the dissertation council of the Kazan State Institute of Culture under the guidance of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Olga Anatolyevna Kalegina, senior teacher of the OP “6B03201 – Library Science” Sandi Muratovna Satagalieva successfully defended her candidate’s thesis in scientific specialty 5.10.4 – Library Science, Bibliography and accounting (pedagogical sciences) on the topic: “Formation and development of library and information education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

On September 08, 2023, lawyer, deputy of the Mazhilis Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Kuspan donated his work to the scientific library fund. A. Kuspan’s book “Lawyers of Alash” is dedicated to Kazakh lawyers of the early twentieth century. It outlines a brief biography, social work and contribution to the development of the legal field in the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a new book “The Chronicle of the Consular Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan” from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The publication presents the history of the formation of the Kazakhstani consular service, reflects the work of consular service employees, including those performing their official duties abroad. Consular historical essays are also presented, events and facts We hope that this book will be very useful to our students studying international relations and law, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in the diplomatic and consular field of activity. The book "Chronicle of the Consular Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" can be found in the reading room of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law.
