Within the walls of the reading room of the scientific library (pedagogical faculty), a literary and musical evening “Kazaktyk Kylkalam sheberi - Abilkhan Kasteev” was held, dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the artist Abylkhan Kasteev, the purpose of which is to familiarize with the works of the artist, to educate aesthetic taste through love for the national art.

The event was attended by students of the І - ІІІ courses of the specialty "Visual Arts and Drawing", with curators Moldashova Bakytgul Abilakirovna and Ispanovoy Aysana Toleuovna. Student Kazhigaliyeva Zhanylsyn introduced interesting pages from the biography of the great artist, a video about A. Kasteev was shown, a quiz was organized about the artist’s activities, student Sauenova Kuralay, Nugasova Lyaylya, Zhumagul Zhantur read poems, the librarian Aitashova Gulshira Shaydenovna conducted a review of the book exhibition “Kazaktyk Gyulkalam Sheberi - Abilkhan Kasteev”. At the end of the event, Khairshakova Altynai and Usagaliyeva Madina sang the song “Samga”. In general, the organizers of the evening created a friendly, warm, relaxed atmosphere.
